LGL seeks an enthusiastic Independent Contractor who believes in the inherent power of girls to change the world. The Program Coordinator commits to understanding, protecting, and fulfilling the LGL mission and oversees but does not overtake student voices. This role creates and facilitates a safe space, enabling program participants to connect and gain meaningful leadership experiences. This position oversees weekly operations of the organization, in compliance with standard nonprofit management best practices. She serves as the primary contact for LGL students, supporting them in an open, accessible way inside and outside of LGL programs and initiatives. She prepares for and facilitates Steering Committee meetings, program sessions, and other special events. The Program Coordinator works in partnership with the Board of Directors to support fund development, marketing/communications, alumnae engagement, and organizational development. This is a part-time, contract position.
