LGL seeks an enthusiastic Program Manager who believes in the inherent power of young people to change the world while upholding our mission of "by girls, for girls." The Program Manager commits to understanding, protecting, and fulfilling the LGL mission and oversees but does not overtake student voices. This position creates and facilitates a safe space that enables program participants to connect and gain meaningful leadership experiences. The role acts as the central point of communication and serves as the primary contact for LGL students, supporting them in an open and accessible way inside and outside of LGL programs and initiatives. They prepare for and facilitate Steering Committee meetings, program sessions, and other special events. In addition to overseeing student programming, they will be responsible for organizational operations that comply with standard nonprofit management best practices and providing administrative support for fundraising and event planning.
The Program Manager will have an understanding of social justice and equitable leadership, and a dedication to true diversity, inclusivity, and accessibility. They will have experience leading and holding space for conversations about race, gender, equity, privilege, oppression, and leadership.
The Program Manager works in partnership with the Board of Directors to support fund development, marketing/communications, alumnae engagement, and organizational development. This is a full-time position; financial support for healthcare and other benefits will be discussed between the position finalist and LGL’s hiring committee.
